So connor what's the latest?

Emma-- protesters are out here angry... you can hear it in their chants.

I was at the scene moments after isiah wagoner was hit by a car.

Protesters say the driver then sped off and tried to hide in an apartment complex off north adams street.

This car you are looking at is the one that allegedly hit activist isiah wagoner.

Protesters say he was trying to stop the car from driving near a children's march but the car sped up and hit wagoner.

Witnesses say he was hit on the side and the car ran over his mega phone... popping the front right tire.

One of the leaders for black unity... the group that organized today's children's protest... says she is shocked a peaceful day turned violent.

I'm completely disgusted this is why the children were chanting kids for change, this is why the kids were chanting black lives matter, this is why they were chanting my little light i'm going to let it shine.

After an hour... police did take this man into custody but there is no word if any charges were filed.

Emma--- according to protesters, wagoner is okay and he was taken to river bend hospital for evaluation.
