Face masks required statewide starting soon

Julian... what exactly does the face mask order say... and what do we need to know?

This applies to businesses and people visitng those indoor spaces.

One thing the governor mentioned in her statement was just how crucial this week is for us in oregon.

In her statement governor brown says "over the last month, we have seen the disease spread at an alarming rate in both urban and rural counties.

The upcoming july 4th holiday weekend is a critical point for oregon in this pandemic, and we can all make a difference."

The governor also said to keep fourth of july celebrations small and local.

Part of the reason is there were a lot of new cases following memorial day weekend.

The governor said another spike could put us in a dangerous position.
