Members of the Tupelo Christian Preparatory School's athletic teams gave over 300 bags of food Tuesday morning.

Of high school athletes is making a difference by helping residents during the coronavirus pandemic.

With the help of students, many families went home blessed.

With all we do in life" ben tallant- student 0:09-0:14 students from grades 9th to 12th packed bags and loaded up cars.

Some even traveled back home from summer vacation to volunteer.

Sot: 'we were coming back on the 5th and i was going to be staying in memphis for two nights, but i decided to come one back and help."

Ben tallant- student 0:22-0:28 coach shaune holiday said the pandemic didn't put a damper on anything today it pushed volunteers to want to help even more sot: "all these kids out here doing this today and they have a smile on their face.

When the people come in an get the food, they've been smiling so aye..

Even at our worse times, god is working."
