Stacey parker mayor houston "what we do is gonna be wrong to some and great for others, and if we don't then it will be right the opposite."

Mayor stacey parker says they have to look at wearing masks from multiple angles.

"scientific side of it and personal side of it and then you just try and combine that and make it work for everyone" business employees already are mandated to wear masks while working "i dont think it's fair to me as business owner to make me wear it and turn around and say you dont have to wear it to come in."

Parker says masks are a good way to keep the spread of the coronavirus down.

" i have a brand new grand daughter and she is about 4 or 5 lbs... my mind is on her."

Mayor parker is still looking at ways to enforce the masks requirement.

"my biggest thing is how am i going to enforce it."

He says the easiest way it to enforce the businesses to tell customers to wear the masks.

"mandate the business to make sure it is passed on to those that walk in."

The meeting is tonight at 6:30.

If you are needing a mask, there are some available at city hall.
