The church gave away groceries today... along with the macon rescue mission .
Starting today ... the church will be giving away boxes of food for community members ... for the next 8 weeks.
Minister belvin ware says... the goal is to make a difference in the community and meet the needs for more macon families.
There's a need for this community to be fed, especially during a time of this pandemic, where a lot of people have been laid off and a lot of people are not working, and not only that, but macedonia is located in one of the biggest food deserts in macon
