East Allen County Schools graduates the class of 2020 seniors over the weekend at the Coliseum.

Good evening i'm chris mullooly thanks for joining us.

Tonight -- families are coninuing to celebrate their high school seniors as they graduate high school.woodlan high school seniors and their families had to stay separate because covid-19 precautions... but the graduation had to continue.fox-55's mallory beard caught with some of the families to see how they felt about the arrangment, knowing they couldn't watch their loved ones turn tassels .

We go thirteen years and you struggle with your kids to make sure they're gonna graduate and then you get to this an then you're unable to be inside to just support your child > > because of coronavirus restrictions, only students and staff were allowed inside for commencement.

>> family and friends camped outside in the parking lot and watched the ceremony via livestream > > bruce sprunter//woodlan high school parent >> "it's a pretty bad situation that we can't go in there and enjoy the commencement with them but that's just the way it is and we've got to deal with it."

They worked very hard.

It was a hard way to end.

Especially with the seniors to not be able to see each other.

But they have just been great through all of it."
