Governor newsom also said today - that we're starting to see a concerning increase in i-c-u use in placer county and butte county.

We're starting to see in some rural parts of the state an increase in icu use that is generating some concern.

Let me be specific in placer county and butte county icu capacity is now limited south of twenty percent capacity."

We reached out to butte county public health -- they say as of this weekend -- the i-c-u's in the county were completely full - but not all of the patients were covid-19 patients.

However - as of today - enloe hosptial says they are not at full capacity.

We also reached out to oroville hospital or orchard hospital in gridley - but we have not heard back.
