Need for ICU beds increase statewide

A recent surge in ICU usage has Gov. Gavin Newsom concerned for Butte County

Gavin newsom: "we're starting to see in some rural parts of the state an increase in icu use that is generating some concern.

Let me be specific in placer county and butte county icu capacity is now limited south of twenty percent capacity."

But enloe medical center spokesman joe page says enloe has the resources to handle a surge butte county has recorded more than 416 positive coronavirus since the pandemic started.
