In the time of pandemic, 'anti-corona tea', introduced by a local tea seller in Telangana's Warangal, is getting massive public attention.
While speaking to ANI, tea shop owner Shiva said, "We sell tea which is named as 'Anti Corona' as it has natural immunity boosting ingredients like Ginger, Black pepper, Cinnamon Powder and others." One of the customers said that the ingredients used in making the tea boost one's immunity and helps in fighting coronavirus.
So far, there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be transmitted by the water from water fountains. But according to HuffPost, experts say the virus may linger on surfaces. Therefore, it's best to avoid fountains if you can, or to limit any direct contact when using them. Filling a water bottle from a fountain, instead of drinking from it, means you won't leave saliva on the fountain. That makes it safer for you and for others.
Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on August 13 called Plasma therapy an effective mode of treatment for COVID-19. He said, "Plasma therapy is an effective mode of treatment for COVID-19. I urge all the people in the state, who have defeated Corona, to come forward and donate their blood plasma so that COVID patients can get a new life through plasma therapy."
Health Ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan in a press conference over COVID-19 situation in India on August 11 informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the video conferencing with 10 states on August 11 asked them to increase their testing rate. Rajesh Bhushan said, "PM referred to the fact that there are states - Bihar, Gujarat, UP, West Bengal and Telangana where there's need to increase testing rate as positivity rate at present in these states is on higher side."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference with Chief Ministers of ten states to discuss the Covid situation. PM Modi said that everyone is working as a team to beat the Covid pandemic. PM Modi added that the rate of testing has increased drastically and now stands at about 7 lakh. He added that the fatality rate has also come down in a major way and said that the aim now should be to bring the fatality rate to below 1%. PM Modi also asked states to adhere to the 72 hour formula, where if anyone is diagnosed, then all his contacts should be traced and isolated within 72 hours. This he said would help in a major way in curbing the pandemic. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda attended 'bhoomi pujan' programme of nine district-level party offices in Telangana via video-conferencing on August 10. While addressing the gathering, Nadda said, "I condemn Telangana government's COVID-19 management. Prime Minister's Ayushman Bharat scheme gave benefit to 55 crore families but Telangana government kept its people deprived of it, by not implementing it."
