Businesses and government offices tell us they're standing firm on their mask requirements even though the governor decided not to include criminal penalties.

The governor announced the mandate as cases begin to curve up.

On thursday indiana reported more than 1,000 new cases in one day for the first time ever.

The executive order goes into effect monday and will last until august 26, unless the governor says otherwise.any changes will be based on the state's data in regards to compliance
