Wildfire northeast of Eagle Point estimated at 150 acres

The Oregon Department of Forestry is responding to a wildfire in a rural area northeast of Eagle Point.

We are entering extremeon the fe are tracking a brand new fire.

It is burning north east of eagle point.

Based off of the photo's we've been getting and our own reporter -- it appears that the fire is burning on a hillside.

Crews have blocked off worthington road.
