Look live: i'm at the northbridge mall in albert lea where the mask distribution is taking place.

Now the way this works is that business stop by hand out their business card and they receive a box of masks and a sign to put in their place of business to let customers know the regulations.

Two locations were set up today... here at the northbirdge location.

Lori wilke was is one of the many that made sure to grab a box that contained 50 masks.

Wilke rents a chair at a local salon.

She says to keep her clients safe she's been digging into her pockets to buy masks.

Having access to these masks will now not only keep her business safe?

"* but will give her some security that she is safe while on the job.

"we have people that come in that dont have them or have forgotten them and instead of saying sorry we can't we will have them on hand.

We are all self employed so we all buy and it just an expense it adds to and on top of everything else that has kind of gone up.

And not everyone is coming out to the shop because they are nervous so on top of that every little bit helps.
