According to the state transportation cabinet one person died tonight when their car drove off the road.

Police say it happened at russell cave road near sahalee....in-bound traffic is being detoured at ironworks...and outbound traffic will take faulkner road.

Police say no other cars were involved in the crash...the driver ran off the road and hit a tree.

He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries...state transportation cabinet reporting it as a deadly crash...the coroner hasn't released any information yet.
