I"m here at the fort payne transportation office where in less than an hour these buses will head out and pick up kids across fort payne.
When kids are on the bus they'll have to wear a mask and sit in assigned seats but the safety measures don't stop there!

Staying in dekalb county -- the dekalb county commission is donating about 15 hundred masks to all teachers in both dekalb county schools and fort payne city schools.
The e-m-a director told us they'll hand out the masks next week for the first full week of classes.
Happening today-- morgan county schools will start their school year in just a few hours.
But, classes will look a bit different.
Students, teachers and staff will have their temperatures checked as they arrive to school.
They will also be required to wear masks.
Teachers will be the only ones to change classrooms. today will be a traditional learning day, but starting next week -- every wednesday will be reserved for online learning, while schools across the
