DIG North Kashmir Range M Suleman Choudhary on September 05 informed about the encounter in which three terrorists were gunned down by the security forces.
Choudhary informed that an army Major and two police officials were injured during the encounter, they are now out of danger.
He said that the terrorists went into a house in Pattan and held the family hostage.
He said that two terrorists have been identified and probe is on to identify the third terrorist.
