A whale stranded on the seashore of an island is helped back into the ocean by locals after seven hours of work.The incredible incident was filmed in the Ecuadorian island of Puna located in Canton-Guayaquil division, on Friday 4th September.The humpback whale was rescued in a joint operation between locals, social groups, the Municipality of Guayaquil, the Ministry of the Environment and Water and a private company after authorities were notified.In total, 37 people helped push the whale back in while a ship using a rope added extra pulling power and others worked to keep the animal hydrated.
