AN DEPUTY -INVOLVED SHOOTING INIMMOKALEE’S FARM WORKER VILLAGETHIS MORNING LEFT ONE MAN DEAD.AND TONIGHT, WE’RE HEARING THE9-1-1 CALL FROM A WOMAN WHO SAIDTHE MAN WHO DIED HAD BEEN TRYINGTO BREAK INTO HER HOUSFOX 4 REPORTER ROB MANCH IS LIVIN IMMOKALEE FOR US WITH THEDETAILS TONIGHT.The Collier County Sheriff’sDepartment says, when deputiesresponded to that 9-1-1 call,they found a man running downthe street with a shovel and asharp-edged weapon.The deputies told him to stopand put the objects down, bthe department says he didn’tcomply and one officer shot him.The man collapsed right here onthe pavement.But this afternoon I had thechance to speak with a woman whwas in the house the man wastrying to break into.KG:The woman didn’t want to giveher name, but her story matchedwhat we heard in the 9-1-1audio.9-1-1 Audio: "Is he still at thefront door?
