Saints Report: New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers

The last two years, the New Orleans Saints didn’t lose their second game of the season until November 10th or later.

But this year, the Black and Gold didn’t even make it to October.

- and it wouldn't be right if the- saints didn't reward the man, - after a run like that... this - time... doing it through the- air... as drew- brees hits kamara, on the optio- route... for the 11-yard- touchdown... new orleans up,- 7-3... and kamara really was un- stoppable... going for 58 yards- rushing... and a buck-39- receiving... on 13 receptions..- he's the league leader with 280- yards after the catch... and- he's a running back.- now this is the play that reall- broke the internet... - kamara on the check down pass..- forcing four missed - tackles, on this 52-yard- touchdown... the most on a- single- play, this season... not to - mention that downfield- blocking, from erik mc-coy... - snow angel to celebrate... and- that really was a masterpiece,- of a catch and run... ties the- game at - 27-all.

- but the momentum would turn,- with brees on the sidelines...- as taysom hill fumbles the ball- away... green bay returns it- into- saints territory... and would - ultimately put the game - away... late in the fourth- quarter.- saints lose, for the second wee- in a row... by the final- score... of - 37-30.- - "we're 1-2 right now, and it's- been a while- since we've felt that and yet - three years ago we were 0-2.

So- a little bit of a gut check,- and yet we're not playing well- enough.

Let's not fool- ourselves."
