The mayor, councilmembers jack lomedico, delvin moody, and celeste friend were among the many people who unveiled the new name.
Mayor rob pamlieri says covid-19 has been devastating and its affected almost every part of everyone's lives for more than 6 months.
He says there is one good thing that comes from all this.
Palmieri says: " and the covid has brought out how fortunate we are to have the essential workers that provide the quality of life that sometimes we take for granted.
It's the men and women, each and everyday that put their lives on the line to protect us to provide the services for us."
