As the pandemic rages on, mayo clinic is working on research projects to thwart the virus.

Kimt news 3's jeremy wall is live at mayo with a closer look at what the clinic is working on.

Jeremy george, mayo tells me their team is working on over 230 research projects connected to the virus.

"* who me they are working on projects ranging from the basic biology of the virus, to it's immune system interaction, to the damage it does to the heart, and much more.xxx we have translational science of understanding different ways on how to treat the virus.

We have a number of clinical trials ongoing right now.

We've completed quite a few clinical trials and there will be more in the future badley and the mayo clinic are out in front on every element of research related to the virus and the disease.
