The coronavirus tab.

You're taking a live look over toyota field in madison!

The view from our waay 31 sky cam network is quiet now - but that won't be the case in a couple hours!

Today - the rocket city trash pandas will be working to break a guinness world record for the largest food drive in one day at a single location!

Waay 31's sierra phillips is live at toyota field.

Sierra, how much food are they hoping to collect?

Their goal is to have 600 thousand pounds of food donated today!

Organizers tell me they'll be here in about an hour to finish setting up.

The drive will be from 8 in the morning until 8 tonight.

All drop-offs will be contactless - so you can donate without ever getting out of your car!

Just put your non-perishable food donations in your trunk - and when you get there, volunteers will grab it for you.

The trash pandas said every item donated today will stay in north alabama!

"we're trying to do it in just 12 hours.

So, we're trying to get 600 thousand pounds of food donated so that we can then give that back to a lot of local nonprofits that will feed families here in northern alabama."

Independent witnesses and cameras will be set up to document the world-record attempt.

There will be also be a weigh station to keep track of how many pounds of food are donated.

The last record was set back in 2011 in north carolina.

More than 55-thousand pounds of food were donated!
