Daughter pranks her mother by putting coal in her face mask

This hilarious clip shows a bemused mother taking off her face mask to discover her face had turned completely BLACK after her daughter tampered with the covering.Grandmother and mother Dawn Young, 55, had just popped into Home Bargains in Stanley, County Durham and couldn't understand why her family burst into laughter as she left the shop.Unbeknownst to poor Dawn, her mischievous daughter Laurie Young, 28, had secretly rubbed coal all over the inside of her face mask before she went shopping in July 2020.Catering manager Dawn's face had been turned completely black by the mask, leaving daughter Laurie, grandson Frankie, 3, and granddaughter Kaci, 17, in hysterics at the sight.Naughty student Laurie said: "I had some coal in the shed at home so when she was in the toilet, I quickly went outside and rubbed it on the inside of her mask."I'm always doing pranks, mostly on my boyfriend, so it just came to me naturally."It was hard to tell if much was coming off because her mask was black. "My mam had two masks so when we got to the shop, she pulled her pink one out to put on and I had to tell her she didn't suit it so she would wear the black one."I was trying my hardest to hold my laughter back until she realised when she looked in the camera and then I couldn't hold it in any longer!"We didn't have anything for her to wipe it off with and the coal stuck to her foundation so she had to wait until she got back home to clean her face."We actually went through a fast food drive through on the way home and the person who served us looked at my mam twice because she saw her face!"Thankfully, my mam always sees the funny side - I haven't pushed it too far yet!"Luckily for Laurie, cheerful Dawn has found the whole incident hilarious whilst making a note to watch out for more pranks in the future.Dawn said: "I literally didn't have a clue that they'd done this me!"As a woman of my age, I was keen to get the mask off as I was sweating underneath it."I remember my granddaughter Kaci giggling but I thought she was just laughing at my grandson Frankie as we were walking to the car."When they were saying lets get a picture, I was up for it - you know, covid memories!"What a shock it was to see my face like that!

Me being me, I saw the funny side of it, just took a few baby wipes to get it all off."I'll be keeping a close eye on these little bleeps now!"
