Now, the move by the supreme court putting a stay on that single day until the lethal drugs can be secured.

I'm told this is a legislative issue.

The doc has asked for two laws.

One to hide the identity of the company that sells the drugs.

Two, law that would allow the do criticism to use the electric chair if drugs for a lethal injection aren't available.

The problem right now under south carolina law a convicted person can choose his or her execution method two weeks out.

Since moore did not choose one, law defaults to lethal injection.

Without drugs it can't happen and hasn't in awhile.

According to the doc there have been 282 executions in the state since 1912.

The last one in 2011, almost ten
