Welcome back.
Well it felt like it may never happen but after much delay the indiana state men's basketball season is finally under way.
The sycamores welcomed the 3-0 truman state bulldogs to the hulman center for this contest.
1st half, isu trailing by four when randy miller jr. puts an end to the bulldogs run with this three pointer.
He lead isu with 19 points.
Later in the half, great defense julian larry as he gets the steal to start the fast break and completes the no look pass to tre williams with the strong dunk but not so strong landing big fella.
A few plays later, larry with another steal and fast break lob to willaims, no one around the big man this time so much smoother finish for the sophomore.
Williams finished with 16.
It wasn't always pretty but indiana state gets the job done as they take this one over truman state 80-66.
<you know going into it i didn't want it to be that ugly but i kind of figured that it would be.
You know you take ten days off and then five days of just one-on-one time with individuals i'll give the guys a little bit of a break on that.
Again, we're throwing them into the fire here coming up these next few games for sure.
That's why we wanted to play somebody else, but i knew it was gonna be ugly.
Happy to get thru it with the win, and plenty of stuff to improve on.>
