The 92-foot long press box is the latest step in Carroll High School’s over $20 million project to renovate the school’s athletics facilities.

Officials are so excited about the progress.

It's impacting so many different groups of kids, and what they do and extracurricular things is important, and i think that's important to tell our kids and our community that everything from academics to extracurricula rs is important for what we do."standup: the 92-foot long press box is just the latest step in carroll high school's over 20-million dollar project to renovate the school's athletics facilities.ginder: "it's not a finished product.

We're not done today, but a large visual that sort of caps things off a little bit."

"they're finishing the bleachers and it just sort of adds that next step of completion and adds that excitement to things."ginder says the school had been discussing renovations since the 1990s, and finally started the overhaul last year after the northwest allen county school district approved the taxpayer funded project.

Ginder: "something needed to be done, but there was always different priorities, more important priorities, and the time came where it fit now."

Carroll is upgrading facilities for practically every sport, which district communications officer lizette downey says is just one more reason for students to be excited about this fall.

Downey: "we're still in the midst of a pandemic, but we see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It just makes it that much sweeter that we have something to really look forward to in the fall, so we're very excited about that piece."tag: ginder says the football stadium will be ready to go by the start of next season.
