Large numbers of hikers are visiting the newly-erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland, at night.

Large numbers of hikers are visiting the newly-erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland, at night.

They and emergency crews can be seen near the spectacular lava flows, a few hours hike from the road.

The volcano re-awoke this month after 700 years.
