Differences over student athlete compensation laws continue

The Supreme Court has a case they are hearing in regards to the NCAA violating anti-trust law by not paying student athletes under the banner of amateurism.

While the highest court in the land heard arguments from NCAA lawyers this week on the state level 8 states including Mississippi have already passed Name, Image and Likeness bills, that will allow student athletes to profit off their NLI.

But one state senator wants a more standard federal law instead.

The Supreme Court's ruling is expected in July.
