Video shows the moments georgetown police officers shot and killed a man suspected of car- jacking.

And the fayette county coroner's office... just releasing the name of that man... 31- year-old deshund tanner.

Officers say tanner had a gun and was trying to run when the shooting happened.

Bobbi..you spoke to a man today who saw it all.

According to georgetown police... this started when they received a call at around seven this morning about a man trying to steal cars from a nearby gas station.

He turned into the mcdonalds parking lot and immediately tried to run away.

Police say tanner tried to steal a car in the drive through at gun point...thats when officers say they shot the man.
