According to Danieleski, Hart and Bernero haven't seen each other face to face or spoken to one another since 2016.

On Monday, June 21st, Elizabeth Hart filed a sexual assault lawsuit against her former boss, and Lansing's former mayor, Virg Bernero.

The lawsuit alleges that Bernero's actions constitute criminal sexual conduct in the 4th degree.
