Police and air ambulance at scene of fatal stabbing of 14-year-old in Woolwich in London

A teenage boy was fatally stabbed in southeast London on Monday.

A teenage boy was fatally stabbed in southeast London on Monday.

Police officers were called to Woolwich New Road at 17:25 BST on Monday and provided first aid before the London Ambulance Service arrived.

The 14-year-old was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
