I composed this instrumental guitar music and named the title of this composition after the historically charming Galena, Illinois.
Galena is located in the northwest corner of Illinois and was established in 1826 from the Mississippi Lead Mine District.
Galena still has much of its rich history and original buildings.
Galena has a 581-acre section known as the “Galena Historic District.” Galena also has winter snow skiing and snowboarding.
The “Galena Historic District” is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
