In Mexico Jaguars are mainly threatened by poaching.There habitat is fragmented in Northern Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico,due to changes in land use,construction roads and tourism infrastructure.As of July 2023 ,Wildlands Network has reported that Jaguars and Ocelots have been captured on camera in Sinaloa Mexico.This is a step to restoring priority corridors that have been impacted by the roads construction .
