There are many wrong ways to dispose of your old, expired, unused or unwanted meds.
Flushing pills causes them to go into our waterways and pollute our environment.
Trashing them is also a no-no, as this presents a danger to wildlife.
Disposing of medication with kitty litter or coffee grounds won't deter those determined to use.
It could also harm kids.
