Washington State eradicated its first Asian giant hornet nest by vacuuming the hornets out of a hollowed-out tree trunk, state agriculture officials said. Dubbed the 'murder hornet,' the Asian giant hornet can grow as large as 6.4 cm in length, and officials fear it could potentially pose a threat to humans and the beekeeping industry.
