‘Severe human rights breaches’: Australia and the NZ back sanctions against Chinese officials

Australia and New Zealand have backed sanctions imposed by the United States, Britain, Canada, the European Union on four Chinese officials for human rights abuses in Xinjiang amid growing international concern over Beijing’s treatment of Uighurs.
