Google reaches $1 trillion in value, even as it faces new tests

Shares of Alphabet, the parent company of Google, hit a market capitalization of $1 trillion for the first time on Jan. 16, 2020, joining Apple, Amazon and Microsoft to reach the once-unimaginable valuation.
