Chicago firm acquires land-lease community in Independence

An all-age, land-lease community based in Independence has been acquired by the fourth investment fund and affiliates of Chicago-based Green Courte Partners (GCP) LLC.  The deal marks the private equity real estate investment firm's 11th land-lease community. Independence's Highland Manor has 382 lots, and nearby amenities include a stocked fishing lake, nature trail and community center.
