EnWave successfully completes first remote installation of Radiant Energy Vacuum machine in Iceland

EnWave Corporation (CVE:ENW) (OTCPINK:NWVCF) announced Wednesday that it had successfully completed its first remote installation of a 10 kilowatt Radiant Energy Vacuum dehydration machine in Iceland. The installation and start up was done remotely to accommodate travel restrictions put in place amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which spurred EnWave to develop procedures and digital training assets to supervise its partner Responsible Foods of Iceland throughout the process. In a statement, the Vancouver-based company called the remote installation a “critical capability” that will support commercial efforts for EnWave’s current and future partners, allowing the company to continue to deploy its REV technology without risking the health and safety of its employees in the pandemic. READ: EnWave signs technology and licensing deal with Eastern European fruit company To support the installation, EnWave developed a portfolio of tools including detailed instruction videos, live video partner training sessions and ongoing support from its technical staff and REV experts. The company said it is “optimistic” that the successful commissioning of the new machine can be replicated with other global partners. EnWave also said that the remote installation program will allow the company to develop new business opportunities in spite of global travel restrictions. “Companies that sign Technology Evaluation and License Option Agreements or Commercial License Agreements are now able to move forward with the installation of machinery and can continue to integrate REV technology into their production facilities,” the firm said in a statement. REV dehydration is a rapid, low-temperature drying method that maintains the product’s colour, flavour, and nutrients during the drying process.
