Dana Canedy named publisher of Simon & Schuster

Dana Canedy, a former journalist at The New York Times, has been named publisher of Simon & Schuster. She will take the title of executive vice president and publisher of the one of the largest publishers in the world, the company announced. Canedy, 55, has been an administrator of the Pulitzer Prizes since 2017, and herself is an award-winning journalist, winning a Pulitzer in 2001 for the series, "How Race is Lived in America."
