UCLA is suing Under Armour Inc. for more than $200 million after the Baltimore sportswear maker tried to terminate its record-breaking sponsorship deal with the school. The lawsuit, filed in California District Court Wednesday, claims that Under Armour breached its contract by trying to end the 15-year, $280 million agreement using the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic as "pretext" to get out a deal that "seemed too expensive for the financially troubled sportswear company."
