NexTech AR Solutions Corp (OTCQB:NEXCF) (CSE:NTAR) (FRA:N29), a dominant player in the red-hot augmented reality space for e-commerce, video conferencing and virtual events, revealed on Friday that it is now an approved Microsoft partner, creating an "enormous" new business opportunity for the company. The company said the partnership provides access to the Azure Marketplace so that InfernoAR can be sold directly through the Marketplace. NexTech said it is also working to become a part of the Microsoft cross-sell program, where Microsoft sales reps will sell InfernoAR and be incentivized to do so as they will win Azure sales credits whenever they make an InfernoAR product sale. READ: NexTech AR's Inferno AR picked by Georgia technology association for November virtual event NexTech is currently building new video conferencing features which will integrate collaborative classroom learning, one-to-one networking and traditional video conferencing directly into the InfernoAR platform letting users seamlessly launch and manage both collaborative experiences and large audience events directly from InfernoAR. “Once this is built, it will be offered online in Azure, said the company. NexTech is also planning to move InfernoAR into Azure. “With this Microsoft partner program, NexTech AR continues to build momentum as it scales up customer wins and is at the forefront of making video conferencing and AR easy to implement and quickly accessible to everyone,” NexTech AR CEO Evan Gappelberg said in a statement. “NexTech’s industry-leading InfernoAR platform and end-to-end augmented reality solution along with our partnership with Microsoft and its huge unparalleled ecosystem brings NexTech AR deeper into the technology marketplace than ever before and provides us with an enormous opportunity for more customer wins,” he added. NexTech recently announced that the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Digital Health has chosen the company’s InfernoAR video conferencing platform for its upcoming virtual event on November 1. The initial event will pay NexTech $50,000, in addition to sponsorship opportunities with virtual booths and augmented reality. NexTech which bills itself as the first publicly traded “pure-play” AR company has offices in New York, Toronto, Dallas and San Jose. The company is a first-mover in the explosive augmented reality space with its ARitize technology, the first cross-platform, browser-based and web-enabled augmented reality e-commerce option. A monthly Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription platform, ARitize enables retailers to transform two-dimensional images into true 3D AR experiences.
