Ford Asked To Recall 3 Mln Vehicles Over Takata Air Bags

Automaker Ford Motor Co. is required by the U.S. auto safety regulator to recall around 3 million vehicles to remove potentially defective Takata air bag inflators, multiple reports said. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or NHTSA has also asked Mazda Motor Corp. to recall about 5,800 vehicles from 2006 through 2012 model years for the same issues.
