Ross Stores Inc. plans to slow its rate of expansion across both its brands in 2021 with fewer new stores opening this year than in 2020. Citing the continued uncertainty in market conditions, CEO Barbara Rentler said on the company’s latest earnings call on Tuesday that Ross plans to open 60 stores this year.
