Loop Insights Inc (CVE:MTRX) (OTCQB:RACMF) announced Monday that it had successfully deployed its venue management platform at the NCAA’s 2021 Big West Conference Championship in Las Vegas in connection with bdG Sports. Vancouver-based Loop said that the Big West championship – the third event with the NCAA – represents the biggest venue bubble deployed by the company to date. In total, Loop’s venue management platform was deployed across 12 total locations with 547 enrolled users and 3,725 check-ins, the company added. READ: Loop Insights to provide its venue management platform to the Big West Conference Basketball Championships in Las Vegas “We are very proud of another successful tournament at the Big West Conference Championships in partnership with Loop,” bdG Sports CEO Brooks Downting said in a statement. “The Loop Insights platform provided enhanced security with a user-friendly experience that allowed athletes and staff to onboard to the platform seamlessly. We look forward to working with Loop Insights again as the sports industry begins to welcome fans back to events once again.” The news of Loop’s successful deployment came at the same time as Nevada authorities announced it will allow gatherings like sports events, conventions and trade shows to operate at 50% capacity starting this week. Loop CEO Rob Anson told shareholders that the timing “could not have been better” given the number of major sporting events set to take place in the next few months. “There is simply no way to overstate the implications of yet another live environment success and the concurrent level of discussions in Las Vegas over the past 10 days,” Anson said. “With the entire sports world watching, Loop hit it out of the park and provided both Nevada and the world with the empirical data necessary to demonstrate our solution is the best in the world. We still have work to be done but we are moving close to the possibility of Loop helping re-open some of North America’s largest sporting events.” Anson noted that Loop is in the midst of multiple negotiations with Nevada-based hospitality and sports organizations. Loop told investors that Nevada’s move to 50% capacity has “significantly accelerated” those discussions, as well as spawned additional discussions with major professional sports teams and leagues outside Nevada that have become top priorities in the month of March given their time sensitivity.
