Seattle judge allows data privacy suits against Microsoft, Amazon to proceed

Two Illinois men claim their images were illegally harvested from the web and made available to major tech companies to train AI algorithms. Both Amazon and Microsoft, which have joined forces to battle the suits, had tried to get the complaints thrown out.
