MMIH agreed to buy its 80% stake in the Mankayan copper-gold project in the Philippines but had not met its Total Funding Commitment under the Transaction Agreement, said Bezant, which is taking steps to recover shares transferred to MMJV, a subsidiary of the Singapore concern.  Bezant said is now considering its options over the Mankayan project including whether to retain it as part of its portfolio.
