US women's soccer settles with federation for $22M in discrimination suit

Six years after U.S. women's soccer team members first began complaining about unequal pay and working conditions, and three years after a lawsuit was filed, the team members have settled with the U.S. Soccer Federation. The federation, the sport's national governing body, will pay $22 million to the women who filed the lawsuit on Women's International Day in 2019.
