Ordered only ‘fake’ Covid posts blocked, not critical ones: IT ministry

The government has asked top social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to take down over 100 posts or URLs, which it accused of spreading “fake or misleading information” to “create panic about the Covid19 situation” in the country.
