Omicron scare: EC to review UP situation next week amid HC suggestion on delaying polls

Chief election commissioner Sushil Chandra on Friday said that he will visit poll-bound Uttar Pradesh next week to review the situation in the state amid Allahabad high court's suggestion that elections should be delayed due to the Omicron threat.The poll panel chief said that an appropriate decision will be taken following his visit.
