India has reported 6,358 new Covid-19 cases and 293 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry said on Tuesday. India has reported 653 Omicron cases so far, the government said. The ministry also stated that 186 people have recovered from the new variant so far. India's active caseload currently stands at 75,456.
